So beautiful. It's been haunting me for days now since I first read it. I haven't been able to find words until just now. No, even now I don't have any... except that I'm scared for this future. I don't want to be a footnote. But what can you do? Nothing. Such is the life of a parent.

I know you'd want to fix: "how to assembly"
Beautiful and memorable: " When a child is small, his mother is as beautiful as a princess and as powerful as a wicked queen. By the time a child is grown, his mother’s love is a footnote, sometimes even a punchline, returned with a weekly phone call in the best of circumstances."

Moving. Beautiful. Vivid.
